The Service Technician III is responsible for completing installation, service, and maintenance on various commercial HVAC systems. The candidate must have experience with inspection, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment.

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance for a variety of commercial equipment.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Cerning, adjusting, and repairing systems.
• Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Approaching every opportunity with a learning mindset.
• Provide high level customer service.
• Actively participate in NCCER Curriculum.
• Must demonstrate proficiency and knowledge of air duct distribution systems, commercial and industrial.
• Know relevant building codes, current legislation, regulations, policies and procedures for the installation and maintenance of systems.

• Ability to follow and communicate instructions and directions both verbally and written.
• Mastery of HVAC components and terminology.
• Experience with inspection, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment.
• Experience with HVAC systems start‑up/commissioning.
• Working knowledge of HVAC concepts related to leak detection, evacuation, recovery, charging, heat pumps and air quality systems.
• Working knowledge of service tools and testing devices.
• Ability to follow and communicate instructions and directions both verbally and written.

• High School Diploma required; technical school preferred.
• OSHA 10 preferred.
• EPA Certified.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Minimum 10+ years of HVAC experience required.

• Required to stand, walk, and sit.
• Talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
• Use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects or controls.
• Reach with hands and arms.
• Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds.
