Experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician

$26-38 per hour (based on experience) + Overtime + Performance Bonuses

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing automatic and tunnel car wash systems, chemical delivery systems, and water treatment/reclaim systems. This position requires strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills, along with a commitment to preventive maintenance and minimizing equipment downtime.

• High school diploma or technical/vocational training.
• Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance or field service experience, or equivalent experience in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or PLC systems.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits, motors, drives, and control systems.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, and technical drawings.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, kneel, climb ladders, reach, twist, perform repetitive hand movements, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  
  Adequate vision to read engineering documents, work orders, and technical manuals.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no impaired driving convictions within the past five years and no pending DUI-related charges).
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned South Florida territory daily, with occasional overnight travel.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and an on-call rotation as needed.

• Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
• Preventive Maintenance (PM) systems
• Forklift certification (training available if needed)

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems.
• Install, align, and calibrate machinery and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Inspect equipment and identify potential issues before failures occur.
• Replace bearings, motors, belts, chains, pumps, valves, and other machine components.
• Complete maintenance records, work orders, and equipment documentation accurately.
• Follow OSHA regulations, company policies, and all safety procedures.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
• Work closely with customers and team members to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
