SDET Engineer; Selenium Java + Rest Assured

We are looking for a highly skilled SDET Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium Java and Rest Assured API Automation Testing.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium Web Driver with Java.
• Perform API automation testing using Rest Assured and validate backend services.
• Create and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.
• Develop reusable utilities, libraries, and automation components.
• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or Git Hub Actions.
• Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and work closely with developers for resolution.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Validate REST APIs, response payloads, status codes, schema validations, and authentication methods.
• Ensure quality standards, best practices, and testing methodologies are followed throughout the SDLC.

• Strong experience in Selenium Web Driver with Java.
• Hands‑on experience with Rest Assured for API automation testing.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java concepts and OOP principles.
• Experience with TestNG or JUnit frameworks.
• Knowledge of Maven/Gradle build tools.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of API testing concepts including JSON, XML, OAuth, and HTTP methods.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Good debugging and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of SQL and database validations.
