CCTV Surveyor

Our client is a reputable and thriving drainage and civil engineering company that has been a driving force in the Southwest region for over three decades. As they continue to expand their impressive portfolio of clients and secure long-term contracts, we are supporting them in their search for a CCTV Surveyor for their Bodmin depot.

Job Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive CCTV surveys to assess existing systems and identify areas for improvement or upgrade.
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV equipment in accordance with industry standards and client specifications.
Interpret technical drawings and schematics to ensure accurate system installation and configuration.
Perform site surveys and risk assessments to determine the most effective surveillance solutions.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver tailored security solutions that meet operational needs.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Maintain detailed records of survey findings, installations, and service reports.
Provide technical support and guidance to clients and colleagues as required.

Required

Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in CCTV surveying, installation, and maintenance within a security environment.
Relevant industry certifications such as CSCS, IPAF, or equivalent health and safety qualifications.
Strong technical knowledge of CCTV systems, including IP and analogue technologies.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications accurately.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
Full UK driving licence, with the flexibility to travel to various sites across the region.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to installation and surveying activities.
Proficiency in using surveying tools and software related to CCTV system planning and diagnostics.
