Medical Receptionist
The Receptionist receives and correctly routes incoming and outgoing telephone calls and accommodates visitors so that all callers/visitors are attended to promptly, courteously, and accurately. The Receptionist performs basic administrative, clerical, operational, customer support, and computational tasks, typically handling routine and patterned assignments.
Responsibilities- Operate a switchboard or multi‑line phone system and maintain long‑distance call logs
- Schedule appointments
- Verify insurance coverage
- Collect patient charges
- Report onsite to the Clinic Administrator at the Conviva Boerne Care Center located at 136 Old San Antonio Rd Suite 406 Boerne, TX 78006
- Support Humana's tuberculosis (TB) screening program, including required TB screening
- Experience in a medical office
- Six months to one year of multi‑phone line experience
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Two years of related experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Associate degree
- Experience with ECW
- Knowledge of medical terminology

Pay Range: $38,000 – $45,800 per year (base pay; varies by location and experience). The position is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
