Duties Help
* Establish priorities and deadlines for special projects and coordinate plans with other elements of the installation as well as subordinate supervisors.
* Determine a method of accomplishing complicated non-routine tasks without specific precedents or guidelines.
* Manage, plan, program, and allocate resources for, and direct, coordinate and evaluate a wide range of logistics related functions of unique and non-standard ammunition and components.
* Utilize knowledge of non-standard ammunition and production to advise outside agencies of efficiency to be gained and streamline their production and maintenance lines.

* Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
* This position requires you to be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top-Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes:
* Perform strategic and long-range planning on phases of ammunition supply operations;
* Resolve quality control issues regarding the transportation, storage, and environmental requirements of munitions;
* Develop supply guidance and regulations for a diverse munition supply program operation; and
* Distribute/shift work to meet critical mission deadlines This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
