Overview

Job Summary:

Responsible for key functional Human Resources duties such as employee relations, benefits and compensation administration, the development of policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with state and federal employment law.

Responsibilities
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Planning, developing, implementing, and administering HR processes, policies, and programs that increase the productivity, competence, and effectiveness of the organization.
  • Partnering with site leaders to develop employee retention practices and managing the performance management and talent review process.
  • Managing payroll-related HRIS processes and establishing salary ranges and compensation plans for internal and external benchmarking.
  • Managing employee relations issues, including coaching, disciplinary actions and workplace investigations.
  • Managing FMLA processes and Worker's Compensation cases, including claims, restrictions and modified duty assignments.
  • Administration of Group Health benefits, including annual enrollment, vendor negotiations, and plan design.
  • Developing, coordinating and delivering educational, informational and/or training programs in interviewing, disciplinary actions, HRIS functions, performance reviews, safety, and other HR-related business issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • 5 years of Human Resources experience in a supervisory role or strategic HR generalist experience.
  • Thorough understanding of federal and state employment and labor laws.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
