Position Summary and Responsibilities
Performs nursing care in an inpatient setting, providing direct patient care in general units and intensive care.
Monitors ESRD/AKI patients on dialysis, ensuring safety and adherence to policies.
Acts as a clinical role model and mentors staff, receiving guidance from senior nurses and coordinators.
Education and ExperienceBSN highly preferred; must meet criteria for Staff Nurse I in the area.
ExperienceAt least two years of nursing experience required.
Current American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) and Healthcare Provider cards are necessary.
Licensure and CertificationActive RN license from the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners required.
National dialysis certification encouraged but not mandatory.
