Family Nurse Practitioner, Spanish speaking

Job Description

The Raphael Community Free Clinic (RCFC) in Kerrville TX is seeking a part-time to fulltime (16 to 32 hours per week) Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Spanish speaking preferred to join our Primary Care team. In this capacity, you will work in collaboration with a dedicated clinical team to provide evidenced-based care to our patients. The clinical care team works with the provider daily to drive better outcomes for our patients, especially those with chronic disease.

This will include accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health education and counseling, and disposition planning. Seventy percent of our patients speak Spanish as a primary language.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION –

Required:

Completion of Master’s Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program

EXPERIENCE –

Required:

Minimum 1 Year of related experience;
Preferred:
Two+ years or more of related experience.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION -

Required:

Texas Nurse Practitioner (NP) current license, in good standing

Texas Registered Nurse (RN) current license, in good standing

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and

Current National Board Certification, Family Practice in good standing to practice as a Nurse Practitioner.

Located in Kerrville, Texas, at 1807 Water St. on the banks of the Guadeloupe River.
