Product Sales Specialist - Enervac US Based
A Product Sales Specialist (PSS) at Enervac is responsible for driving sales of transformer oil and SF6 products and services within targeted markets. The role focuses on developing new business through proactive direct sales while also supporting and growing relationships with existing customers, resellers, and distribution partners. The PSS provides technical and applications expertise to end-users, ensuring customers receive the right solutions while strengthening Enervac's market presence and sales performance.
DutiesAnd Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new customers and applications.
- Participate in on-site meetings with prospects and customers.
- Provide market and application information for the defined markets.
- Help produce marketing materials including presentations, bulletins, sales and technical manuals.
- Review and analyze customer requirements to develop and prepare detailed proposals describing equipment type, price, delivery time and financial terms.
- Review proposals for compliance with company standards and contract language.
- Provide technical, installation and troubleshooting consultation with customers, sales and other departments.
- Market and sell products to the power generation, transmission and distribution, and other related market segments.
- Identify key prospects, complete needs assessments, generate and qualify leads.
- Develop sales plans to meet or exceed established quotas.
- Maintain CRM per company guidelines.
- Track and communicate with management regarding sales prospects, competitive threats, revenue and profit expectations.
- Participate in promotional events such as conferences, trade shows and industry relations programs.
- Interact and communicate with all levels of employees within the company, as well as suppliers, customers and peers effectively.
- Comply with policies, procedures, standards and rules of the company.
- Maintain quality assurance policy consistent with ISO standards.
- Maintain work area in a clean, orderly and safe manner.
- Ensure regular and reliable attendance.
- Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.
- Five (5)+ years outside‑sales experience required in industrial lubrication oil or hydraulic equipment sales within Oil and Gas, Mining, Power Generation, or Paper and Pulp industries.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Marketing, or Business or equivalent education with three (3)+ years of related outside‑sales experience in the industries listed above.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and follow verbal instructions in Standard English.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast‑paced technical environment with multiple priorities.
- Proven ability to communicate complex ideas to a varied audience.
- A valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to travel 50% or more of the time with frequent overnight travel required.
- Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds may be required.
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, and stoop in a normal office environment.
- Must routinely travel throughout multi‑floor offices and shop areas, walking and climbing stairs.
- Must respond to changing requirements and working conditions.
- Travel required, with exposure to varying environments and cultures, changing deadlines and strict time constraints.
