Rooter and Jetting Technician – Full Time

Van Delden Wastewater Systems in Boerne, TX is hiring a full‑time Rooter and Jetting Technician to deliver excellent customer service on residential and commercial septic systems.

This position offers a competitive starting wage of $24/hr with bonus opportunities after 3 months, generating $45,000 to $55,000 annually. Weekly pay is available with direct deposit. Benefits include paid holidays after 6 months, one week of paid time off after 1 year, bonuses, medical, dental, vision, supplemental insurance, 401(k), and incentives.

On a typical day you will arrive at the shop, prepare your truck and equipment, and then go out with your assigned tools and trailer. You greet customers, obtain pre‑authorization signatures, and begin work, carefully digging to locate the system component, installing a cleanout or rooter, or jetting drainfield lines. After completing the job you leave the property clean, collect payment and depart with a satisfied customer.

The role is active and may involve supporting other projects or cross‑training to broaden skills. Your customer‑service focus keeps customers returning and aligns with our motto of doing it right.

• Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Ability to tow and back up a trailer
• Experience with small equipment such as a mini‑excavator
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Physical capacity to lift, shovel, and perform other manual tasks
• Proficiency in using an iPad for job documentation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test

Additional qualities sought include strong customer‑service skills, honesty, reliability, and a willingness to work with hands and occasionally get dirty.

Monday through Friday, approximately 7:30 am – 5:00 pm. No weekends, holidays or late nights.
