Tree Trimmer​/Climber

United Clearing Services is hiring a Tree Trimmer / Climber in our Energy & Utilities Field Operations & Site Management team. In this field role, you will climb trees and operate aerial lifts to prune, remove, and clear vegetation around power lines and utility corridors, ensuring safe, reliable service. Responsibilities include identifying hazardous limbs, using chainsaws and rigging equipment, performing ground clean-up, and following strict safety and OSHA guidelines.

You'll collaborate closely with crew members in a fast-paced, team-focused environment that values innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement in work methods and equipment use.

Responsibilities

• Climb trees and operate aerial lifts to prune and remove limbs near utility lines
• Perform directional pruning to maintain electrical clearance and reliability
• Safely operate chainsaws, chippers, and rigging equipment
• Inspect work sites, identify hazardous trees and branches, and report risks
• Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and lockout/tagout where required
• Communicate with crew leaders, ground crew, and utility representatives
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition
• Clear, chip, and dispose of brush and wood, leaving sites clean
• Document work performed according to company and utility standards
• Participate in ongoing safety and technical training
