Electrical Reliability Engineer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Reliability Engineer to enhance and uphold the electrical reliability of our operations. This pivotal role involves collaborating with department managers, maintenance supervisors, and the reliability core team to develop and implement strategies that improve electrical reliability across our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce and maintain processes that enhance electrical reliability.
• Develop and implement procedures that positively impact equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Oversee projects that support work execution teams, focusing on equipment modifications and access improvements.
• Monitor and manage maintenance budgets, ensuring adherence to reliability metrics such as cost, labor, and repairs.
• Design maintenance plans that optimize equipment lifecycle economically and effectively.
• Drive performance goals, enhancing machine efficiency and reliability metrics across the facility.
• Establish and execute integrated action plans for electrical reliability improvements.
• Provide training and mentorship on key areas, including lubrication, Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), and preventive maintenance.
• Foster a goal-oriented environment focused on safety, employee engagement, and reliability excellence.
• Mentor electrical leaders within the facility to cultivate a culture of reliability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred, with a minimum of 7 years in operations, maintenance, or engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven leadership in safety initiatives and a commitment to fostering a safety-first culture.
• Experienced in promoting teamwork and employee participation to drive success.
• Strong focus on cost management and innovative strategies for cost reduction.
• Ability to develop a strong reliability culture, enhancing partnerships between Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering.
• Track record of achieving target outcomes by setting clear expectations and accountability measures.
