This position is responsible for leading and directing elements of the Bogalusa Mechanical Reliability Team. Expected to manage in a goal-oriented environment to deliver targeted results in safety, employee engagement, and reliability excellence.

Leads efforts in maintaining and troubleshooting mill-wide equipment and systems, establishing root causes of failures. Provides ongoing improvements in mill-wide reliability and effective planning to achieve timely repairs.

• Guide efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, facilities, control loops, and safety/security systems.
• Lead Development effort and keep criticalities current.
• Preventative Maintenance:
  Partner with key stakeholders to ensure communication is effective between core teams and technicians.
• RCFA Facilitation:
  Champion RCFA use, ensuring workforce engagement, proper root causes identified, and action items completed.
• Prepare and lead monthly Reliability Review Meetings with the Department.
• Participate in Capital Plan and Repair Plan development.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5-10 years’ experience (manufacturing facility required) with a strong technical and maintenance background
• Ability to manage and lead multiple projects
• Proficient with Microsoft and SAP-PM Applications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must have good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong presentation skills
