We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Assistant to support the procurement function in sourcing materials, parts, and services needed for production and operations. This is an entry to mid-level role ideal for candidates with some exposure to purchasing or supply support.
Key Responsibilities:Assist in sourcing and purchasing materials, components, and services in line with production schedules.
Prepare purchase orders (PO), obtain quotations from suppliers, and coordinate approvals.
Track supplier delivery performance and update purchasing records.
Maintain accurate vendor and price databases.
Follow up on order confirmations, deliveries, and invoices to ensure on-time receipt of goods.
Liaise with warehouse, logistics, and accounts payable to resolve discrepancies.
Support vendor evaluations and maintain good supplier relationships.
Assist with inventory monitoring and reorder point management.
Qualifications:Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement support, or supply chain role.
Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Strong attention to detail and basic analytical capability.
Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and comfortable learning ERP systems.
Eagerness to learn and develop in procurement best practices.
Experience with vendor onboarding and basic contract terms.
