The HR Manager will lead and oversee the full spectrum of Human Resources functions within a hospitality environment, ensuring alignment with operational excellence, service culture, and business objectives.
This role requires hands‑on experience in the hospitality industry (hotel, resort, or hospitality group). Candidates without prior hospitality experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic HR & Business PartnershipAct as a strategic partner to the General Manager and Department Heads.
Align HR strategy with property operational goals and service standards.
Support pre‑opening, rebranding, or expansion initiatives (if applicable).
Drive service culture and employee engagement initiatives.
2. Manpower Planning & RecruitmentLead workforce planning based on occupancy rate and operational needs.
Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for hospitality roles (Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping, Engineering, Sales & Marketing, etc.).
Ensure timely hiring for daily operations and peak seasons.
Oversee onboarding and orientation programs aligned with brand standards.
3. Industrial Relations & ComplianceEnsure compliance with local labor laws and hospitality regulations.
Handle employee relations issues, disciplinary actions, and grievance processes.
Manage union relations (if applicable).
Maintain proper HR documentation and audit readiness.
Manage payroll, service charge distribution, and attendance systems.
Oversee BPJS, insurance, leave management, and employee benefits.
Develop retention programs and incentive schemes aligned with service performance.
5. Performance & Talent DevelopmentIdentify high‑potential employees and succession planning for key roles.
Coordinate training programs (service excellence, leadership, compliance).
Promote internal promotion and career path development.
6. HR Operations & AdministrationSupervise HR administration and personnel records.
Ensure accurate HR reporting and data management.
Oversee employee engagement activities and welfare programs.
Support hotel audits (brand audit / ISO / internal audit).
Requirements EducationBachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Hospitality Management, or related field.
ExperienceMinimum 8 years of HR experience.
Minimum 3–5 years in HR Manager role within Hotel / Resort / Hospitality industry.
Strong understanding of hospitality operations.
Experience managing large operational workforce (shift‑based employees).
Strong knowledge of labor law.
Experience handling service charge systems.
Familiar with HRIS and attendance systems.
Strong recruitment capability for operational positions.
Soft SkillsStrong leadership and interpersonal skills.

High emotional intelligence.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced operational environment.
