Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Recruit new Participating Contractors through tactics such as attending community business leader events and meetings
• Onboard new Participating Contractors by collecting documentation and providing onboarding training
• Conduct regular and supplementary Participating Contractor trainings
• Coordinate translation services for trainings of installers and non-native-English-speaking contractor staff
• Manage quarterly Participating Contractor allocations and performance
• Coordinate and lead meetings with individual Participating Contractors to review project pipelines and monitor progress toward program goals
• Conduct at least quarterly on-site visits at larger Participating Contractor locations
• Provide performance feedback and encourage contractor improvement
• Address contractor underperformance and manage disciplinary action when necessary
• Draft correspondence regarding program deadlines, announcements, and changes
• Handle project-specific issues including failed inspections and payment inquiries
• Address contractor complaints and manage escalations
• Coordinate semi-annual in-person contractor events and bi-monthly webinars
• Gather and document lessons learned and contractor feedback for IC staff and the Companies
• Develop and maintain contractor ratings
• Maintain an accurate contractor list for the Company’s “Find a Contractor” web functionality
• Manage annual and bi-annual recertifications
• Act as the local contractor-facing program and company representative to trade allies
• Participate in community outreach and track data to identify effective marketing and program tactics

• Possess a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and no history of major driving infractions
• 5-8 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Knowledge of Weatherization, HVAC, or Building Construction preferred
• BPI, OSHA, and EPA Lead certifications preferred, yet not required; or ability to obtain/pass skills test once hired
• Ability to explain programmatic information in an easy-to-understand way
• Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills
• Consistently friendly, positive, and respectful communications, even under pressure
• Ability to develop and maintain positive interpersonal relationships
• Excellent organization, record-keeping, and time management skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office preferred, or ability to learn Outlook, Excel, and One Drive
• Proficiency with mobile applications
• Ability to pass Level 1 and Level 2 background checks and drug screening
• If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations
• Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without employer sponsorship or support

Demonstrates expertise in contractor recruitment, onboarding, and performance management, with a strong focus on communication and relationship-building. Proficient in organizing training sessions and events while maintaining compliance with industry standards.
