CV Resources is recruiting a seasoned Senior Project Manager to direct complex commercial construction projects involving architectural metals, glazing systems, curtain walls, storefronts, and specialty glass installations. This position oversees projects from initial planning and contract review through fabrication, installation, and final completion.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction project management and the ability to effectively coordinate clients, design professionals, contractors, vendors, field personnel, and internal teams. Success in this role requires exceptional organizational abilities, leadership skills, financial oversight, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a dynamic project environment.

Responsibilities
  • Direct multiple commercial metal and glass construction projects throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Evaluate project contracts, construction documents, technical specifications, shop drawings, and submittal packages.
  • Establish and maintain project timelines, budgets, procurement schedules, and workforce plans.
  • Collaborate closely with estimating, engineering, drafting, purchasing, manufacturing, and installation departments.
  • Act as the central communication liaison between stakeholders, including customers, architects, contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Facilitate project meetings, site coordination sessions, and progress reviews.
  • Manage RFIs, change requests, purchase orders, submittals, and project records.
  • Monitor manufacturing schedules, material procurement, delivery timelines, and installation activities.
  • Ensure projects meet schedule commitments, budget requirements, and quality expectations.
  • Anticipate potential project challenges and implement corrective actions before issues escalated.
  • Coordinate labor resources, subcontractor activities, equipment requirements, and field operations.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior project management staff and promote professional development.
  • Enforce all company safety standards and applicable workplace safety regulations.
  • Track financial performance, including forecasting, cost management, invoicing, and profit objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage long-term business partnerships.
  • Travel to project locations and conduct field inspections as necessary.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 7 years of project management experience within commercial construction, architectural metals, glazing, storefront, or curtain wall sectors.
  • Extensive understanding of glass systems, metal fabrication processes, construction methods, and installation practices.
  • Ability to interpret architectural plans, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Proven experience managing several concurrent projects with competing priorities.
  • Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, project sequencing, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Experience handling RFIs, submittals, procurement activities, change management, and project closeout procedures.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and industry-standard project management platforms such as Bluebeam, Procore, Microsoft Project, or related software.
  • OSHA certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD is beneficial.
  • Valid driver's license required.
