Assistant Project Manager – Construction/Architectural Products
Location:
Bohemia, NY
Company/Industry: Architectural wall products/ceiling and floor solutions company
Schedule:
Mon-Fri, 1st shift
Salary: $65,000 - $85,000/yr depending on experience, with flexibility for the right candidate
Type:
Direct hire with benefits
Key Responsibilities
- Assist project managers with day-to-day project coordination
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documents
- Prepare and track submittals, RFIs, purchase orders, and change orders
- Coordinate with vendors, installers, and internal teams
- Maintain project schedules and ensure deadlines are met
- Monitor material deliveries and logistics
- Support project close-out documentation and punch list items
- Provide administrative and operational support across active projects
Requirements
- 1–3+ years of experience in general construction, architectural products, or project coordination
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with project management software is a plus
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $65,000.00 - $85,000.00
