SummaryWorking with senior design staff, you will be assisting in solving major and complex engineering problems in one or more phases of a developmental project involving analysis, research design, hardware circuit design, board bring up, development, fabrication and/or testing of a device or system. The electrical engineer will use schematics, FPGA design, and debug tools to achieve daily work tasks, conduct the development of each assignment, and coordinate engineering personnel assigned to each activity.
The role offers latitude for independent decision‑making and requires originality and ingenuity.
- Help design, develop, modify and evaluate complex devices and/or systems; assist in conceiving methods and alternatives for satisfying product goals, specifications, and requirements.
- Perform original complex analysis and design work of system and component parts in accordance with specifications.
- Design or select commercially available equipment, coordinate design results with other design groups, and collaborate with other engineers to evaluate the merits of the design and make changes accordingly.
- Conduct independent technical investigations involving the origination or modifications of material, components, or process specifications and requirements; evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services.
- Assist in preparation of bids and proposals as required.
- Circuit design and debugging experience with SBCs, CPUs, microprocessors, memory (DDR), SOC, FPGA (VHDL), and bus protocols (PCIe, I²C, SPI).
- Candidates must be a U.S. Person—either a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident—and must provide documentation upon hire. Some positions involve sensitive customer contracts and require U.S. citizenship as a condition of employment.
- BS in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline; 3–8 years’ experience required.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts.

- Experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers); excellent analytical skills; ability to work with versatility and flexibility in a multi‑task environment.
