You’ll Do
- Test and Troubleshoot:
Use specialized test equipment to evaluate electronic products, identifying issues down to the component and sub-assembly level with precision. - Interpret and Execute:
Analyze schematics, drawings, and specifications to set up and perform tests, ensuring products meet rigorous standards. - Collaborate and Mentor:
Share your expertise by cross‑training and mentoring other technicians, while providing technical guidance to assemblers. - Innovate and Improve:
Recommend process improvements and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. - Communicate and Document:
Provide clear written and oral feedback on test results, troubleshooting efforts, and quality observations. - Maintain Excellence:
Keep your workstation and tools organized, comply with safety regulations, and engage in a self‑directed teaming environment.
- Education:
A 2‑year degree in Electronics or related field, Certified Electronics Program (18 months), or a 4‑year degree in Electronics Engineering Technology (EET) or related field. - Experience:
1‑3 years of manufacturing experience or equivalent knowledge. - Skills:
Proficiency in troubleshooting to the component level, interpreting schematics, and using tools like voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and Hi‑Pot meters. Basic computer skills and knowledge of manufacturing processes are essential. - Certifications:
PR Certification must be obtained within the probationary period. - Desired
Qualifications:
Experience in manufacturing and self‑directed teaming environments, lean manufacturing knowledge, and familiarity with IPC‑A‑610 standards.
