Job Overview
Join our team as an Electronics Technician, where you will test, troubleshoot, and improve advanced electronic products using specialized equipment and schematics. You will collaborate with and mentor teammates, recommend process improvements, and ensure quality standards are met while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
Responsibilities- Test and troubleshoot electronic products with specialized test equipment, identifying issues to the component and sub‑assembly level.
- Analyze schematics, drawings, and specifications to set up and perform tests, ensuring products meet rigorous standards.
- Collaborate and mentor by cross‑training other technicians and providing technical guidance to assemblers.
- Recommend process improvements and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Provide clear written and oral feedback on test results, troubleshooting efforts, and quality observations.
- Maintain an organized workstation and tools, comply with safety regulations, and engage in a self‑directed teaming environment.
- Education:
2‑year degree in Electronics or related field, Certified Electronics Program (18 months), or 4‑year degree in Electronics Engineering Technology (EET) or related field. - Experience:
1–3 years of manufacturing experience or equivalent knowledge, depending on education. - Skills:
Proficient in component‑level troubleshooting, interpreting schematics, and using tools such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and Hi‑Pot meters. Basic computer skills and knowledge of manufacturing processes are essential. - Certification: PR Certification must be obtained within the probationary period.
- Desired:
Experience in manufacturing and self‑directed teaming environments, lean manufacturing knowledge, and familiarity with IPC‑A‑610 standards.
Safety is our top priority. This role may involve high‑risk or hazardous operations and may include working shifts beyond a standard workweek. Candidates must be at least 18 years old by the time of joining.
PayBase pay range: $25 – $28 per hour, depending on experience, education, and skill set.
