Manufacturing Technician Intern

Job Description Summary

Assist in the testing and troubleshooting of electronic components and systems using standard and specialized test equipment.

• Test and troubleshoot electronic components and systems
• Gather and analyze data to support engineering and production activities
• Read and interpret electronic schematics to diagnose and resolve issues
• Maintain accurate records of tests, repairs, and maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, delivery, and cost standards in all tasks
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to report progress and issues
• Prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines and production schedules
• Lift and move equipment and components weighing up to 20 lbs as needed
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support project goals and ensure seamless integration of electronic systems
• Recommend and/or propose process improvements
• Understand and comply with all company safety rules and regulations

• Currently enrolled in an accredited electronics or engineering program
• Previous experience or coursework related to electronics and troubleshooting
• Ability to troubleshoot to component level
• Experience using electronic tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and power supplies
• Basic to intermediate computer skills
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Lean manufacturing knowledge
• Understanding of IPC‑A‑610 standards
• At least 18 years of age at the time of joining

The base pay range for this position is $22–$24 per hour. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/commission. Relocation assistance is not provided.
