Job Description Summary

The Order Management Specialist is the primary focal for end-to-end customer order execution. This role owns order entry and maintenance, drives past-due recovery, and ensures orders progress in compliance with export controls/ITC and internal policies. The specialist partners closely with Program Management, Contracts, Engineering, Planning, Shipping/Logistics, Finance, and Trade Compliance to deliver strong customer experience and performance to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) goals.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Order entry and maintenance

    • Create, validate, and release customer orders in the ERP system (new orders, change orders, cancellations)
    • Ensure accuracy of pricing, quantities, promise dates, ship-to/bill-to, contract terms, and required documentation
    • Monitor order holds (credit, configuration, quality, export, etc.) and coordinate resolution
  • Past-due and AR execution

    • Proactively manage the past due list for Accounts Receivable, drive action plans, and communicate commits/status to internal teams and customers as appropriate
    • Coordinate with Programs, Planning, Manufacturing, Finance, Engineering, Contracts, Logistics, and Customers to address constraints on billing and collections
    • Lead Daily Management cadence to hold team accountable on past due KPIs and solve problems immediately
  • Export/Trade/ITC compliance

    • Support compliant order processing by partnering with Trade Compliance on export classification, licensing needs, denied party screening, and shipping restrictions.
    • Ensure orders and shipments align with ITC/export requirements and required documentation is complete.
  • Continuous improvement

    • Identify recurring drivers of data entry issues, past dues, rework, or holds; implement process improvements and standard work.
    • Maintain clean data and contribute to KPIs (OTD, past due aging, backlog accuracy, etc.).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in order management, customer service, supply chain, operations, sales, or finance)

  • Experience supporting international orders, licensing workflows, or regulated/controlled products
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups) and comfort working with large datasets
  • Experience driving past due recovery and cross-functional action plans
  • Familiarity with KPI reporting (OTD, Past Due, Backlog Aging, Holds)

The base pay range for this position is $92,400 to $115,200 annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on 07/31/2026.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
