Are you ready to be part of a team that powers the future of aerospace innovation? GE Aerospace is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Manufacturing Technician to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will play a critical part in assembling and testing electro-mechanical systems that meet rigorous military specifications. Your expertise will ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and precision in every step of the manufacturing process.
What You'll Do:
* Execute complex manufacturing processes, including electro-mechanical system setup, cable assembly, and machine profile adjustments, ensuring compliance with military specifications.
* Interpret and follow written specifications, operation sheets, and visual instructions to deliver high-quality products.
* Maintain meticulous records of tests, quality checks, and specification data to ensure traceability and compliance.
* Train and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and self-directed work environment.
* Utilize small tools, measuring devices, and production equipment to perform tasks with precision and care.
* Uphold safety standards and maintain a clean, organized workstation.
What You'll Bring:
* Education:
High School Diploma or GED; IPC-A-610 Certification.
* Experience:
1-3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a self-directed teaming environment.
* Skills:
Proficiency in using hand tools, interpreting specifications and drawings, performing inspections, and basic computer skills. Strong dexterity and hand-eye coordination are essential.
* This role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek. As such, a requirement of the role is to be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.
