Position Summary
As a Material Handler, you’ll support production by loading, verifying, and replenishing materials to keep operations running smoothly. You’ll help maintain inventory accuracy, follow safety and quality procedures, and assist with packaging and labeling. Your attention to detail and teamwork help us deliver the products people love — safely and consistently.
SHIFT/SCHEDULEThis role operates on the 2nd shift, with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 3:00PM - 11:30PM.
ONBOARDING SCHEDULETo ensure a successful start and seamless integration into the team, this role includes a structured 4–5‑day onboarding program, typically scheduled from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. All new employees are expected to complete this onboarding during their first week.
RESPONSIBILITIES- 3 or more months of Nestlé production experience preferred
- Load and unload raw materials; verify batch codes and expiration dates
- Replenish materials in bins/hoppers to prevent shortages
- Report damaged or inconsistent materials to leadership
- Wrap products manually or using a wrapping machine
- Label and verify product selection and quantity
- Perform basic housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean work area
- Enter data using paper forms, computers, or tablets
- Follow safety rules, GMPs, SOPs, and company policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1–2 years of manufacturing experience preferred
- Understanding of material handling and equipment preferred
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move throughout your shift
- Comfortable working around powders, chemicals, and food allergens
- Flexible to work overtime based on business needs
- Comfortable using computers, tablets, and digital tools
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Able to read, write, and understand English
- Team-oriented and dependable
The approximate hourly pay for this position is $21.26. Nestlé offers performance-based incentives and a competitive total rewards package, which includes a 401(k) with company match, healthcare coverage, and a broad range of other benefits. Incentives and/or benefits may vary depending on the position. Includes a $1.50 shift differential.
