Equipment Operator, Print and Auto Inspection

Second Shift (Afternoons) 03:00pm - 11:30pm. Pay Range: $24–$26 per hour.

Bohemia, NY – Clinical Labeling Services, part of the Clinical Trials Division.

• Demonstrate a solid understanding of the label manufacturing process for a wide array of label constructions using automated and non‑automated inkjet equipment.
• Set up computerization production runs with the proprietary CLPS software, following department SOPs and Work Instructions.
• Monitor label production for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and safety standards.
• Operate printed label equipment, troubleshoot issues and maintain production quality.

High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, or laboratory setting. Experience in a cGMP environment preferred. Knowledge and experience in the printing or manufacturing industry with proficiency in computer operations, MS Excel, Outlook, and file management. Mechanical aptitude, ability to read measurements, troubleshoot, and perform roll splicing. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

• Use personal protective equipment and be able to stand, move, reach, bend, stoop, and grasp throughout the shift.
• Be able to lift and maneuver materials weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Perform tasks that may involve forceful gripping, pushing, and pulling with hand tools.
