Shop Worker (Carpentry Background

Responsibilities

• Custom Assembly:
  Cut, prep, align, and assemble architectural window and custom door frames using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and precision shop machinery.
• Blueprint Reading:
  Interpret architectural drawings, cut sheets, and shop specs to ensure correct dimensions, hardware placement, and tolerances.
• Precision Cutting & Prep:
  Measure accurately down to the fraction/millimeter, operate chop saws, routers, and drills to prep aluminum or wood extrusions.
• Quality & Sealing:
  Install seals, weatherstripping, gaskets, and architectural hardware (hinges, locks, handles) ensuring airtight, high-grade finishes.
• Shop Maintenance:
  Maintain a clean, organized workstation and adhere strictly to shop safety guidelines.

salary: $20 - $25 per hour

shift:
First

work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM

education:
High School

• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
