Assembler, Manufacturing ​/ Production

Job Description

The ideal Assembler performs basic and routine electronic assembly operations on components or subassemblies. Assembles electronic components to meet performance standards.

Requirements

• Assemble sub-assemblies and systems by following specific instructions.
• Able to solder desirable but not required
• Able to follow written instructions, visual aids, drawings, diagrams and travelers
• Identify electronic components and properly place them on the circuit board according to instructions.
• Proper use of soldering irons, tweezers and other standard assembly tools in sub-assembly and final assembly procedures.
• Ability use a microscope a plus
• Familiar with IPCs and J-STDs a plus
• Minimum of 1 year of assembly experience
• Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt in a team‐oriented environment
• Knowledge of ESD practices
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• High school diploma or equivalent
