Triage – Registered Nurse (RN)

Location:

Bohemia, NY

Hours/Days:
Monday‑Friday, 8.5‑hour shifts

• Create individualized care plans for patients under your supervision and care.
• Possess strong critical thinking skills to evaluate patient symptoms rapidly and make informed decisions about care priorities.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to share expertise and knowledge.
• Convey information clearly and compassionately.
• Provide supportive resources to patients and families to promote a positive outlook.
• Teach patients and families about treatment expectations.
• Watch and record the patient’s progress on a constant basis.
• Chart the patient’s response to treatment and medication.
• Complete MAR after treatment.
• Provide the patient with discharge instructions specific to the patient and emergency numbers after care.
• Complete injections.

• Valid New York State RN License.
• Excellent assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with an EMR (preferred).
• Ability to work prolonged periods sitting at a desk, standing, bending, and reaching.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

• Salary starting at $48 per hour based on experience.
