Lead Quality Assurance Technician – Day shift

Responsibilities

• Guide QA activities on the production floor to ensure product safety and compliance
• Support inspections, documentation, and team training
• Help resolve issues in real-time
• Coordinate QA technician activities and lead the department when needed
• Perform in-process testing, AQL inspections, and batch record reviews
• Submit samples for analytical and microbiological testing
• Approve pre-start checks and release work orders
• Conduct daily audits to ensure compliance
• Support training on GMPs and SOPs
• Communicate with teams to resolve errors and maintain standards

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing quality assurance
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move throughout your shift
• Comfortable working around powders, chemicals, and food allergens
• Flexible to work overtime based on business needs
• Comfortable using computers, tablets, and MS Office programs
• Experience with systems like SAP, Oracle, AS400, PQM, or Captiva preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
