This position requires a U.S Person or a person who can qualify for a department of state or commercial license.

Position Summary

DDC is looking for personnel to participate in the exciting field of leading-edge Communications Technology for Aerospace and similar applications. DDC already provides many high reliability solutions for Aerospace, both Commercial and Military, and is looking to expand its leadership in this area by developing several forward-looking products and solutions. These products and solutions will lead the way for developing and deploying future Aerospace networks.

We are seeking a Jr. QA Safety Technician to join our Engineering team!

Key Position Accountabilities
  • Assist in developing and maintaining quality planning procedures to meet company and regulatory standards
  • Participate in internal audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support product qualification testing and inspections under guidance from requirement definition through product release
  • Maintain accurate records, ensuring proper traceability and documentation for quality control purposes
  • Must be willing to learn new “Certification Processes and Specifications”
  • Take the initiative to investigate, develop, and evaluate processes that improve quality or performance
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in applied sciences or equivalent preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to develop, analyze, articulate and present technical information in both written and verbal forms
  • Ability to develop excellent working relationships with management, team members, customers, and vendors
  • Ability to follow detailed testing procedures and protocols
  • Proficient in using computer systems for traceability and documentation
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with network technologies is desirable
  • Experience with certification processes such as DO-178, DO-254, and MIL-STD specifications is a plus
  • Experience with C/C++ and shell scripting
  • Experience with JEDEC Standards and Military Performance Standard such as MIL-PRF-38534, MIL-PRF-38535, and JESD
    47 is a plus
  • Experience with qualification of both hermetic and non-hermetic complex Microcircuits/components is a plus
