Controls Technician

This is a full-time, field service role for a Controls Technician, located in Bohemia, NY. The Controls Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing control systems, performing preventive maintenance on building management systems, and ensuring optimal functionality of temperature controls. Additional tasks include conducting instrumentation diagnostics, handling low voltage systems, and performing calibration as needed to ensure system accuracy and reliability.

• Strong skills in troubleshooting and identifying issues within HVAC control systems
• Proficiency in preventive maintenance to ensure continued system efficiency
• Knowledge of instrumentation and equipment handling
• Familiarity with electricity and electrical systems used in control applications
• Experience in calibration techniques for accurate system performance
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Relevant technical certification or experience in computer hardware or software installation, troubleshooting, circuits, or related fields is a plus.
