This is a full-time, on-site Experienced Water Treatment Technician role based in Bohemia, NY. The technician will perform on-site water testing, diagnose water quality issues, and recommend appropriate treatment solutions for residential and commercial customers. Daily responsibilities include installing, configuring, and servicing filtration and treatment systems, including reverse osmosis and point-of-entry systems, as well as performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting. The role involves traveling to customer locations on Long Island, conducting professional consultations, explaining test results, and educating clients on system use and care.
The technician will also complete service documentation, maintain tools and equipment, adhere to safety protocols, and collaborate with the team to ensure timely, high-quality customer service.
- Strong technical skills in water testing and water treatment for residential and commercial systems.
- Experience with wastewater treatment processes and the ability to apply best practices in field operations.
- Demonstrated analytical skills to interpret test data, diagnose issues, and select appropriate treatment solutions.
- Clear, professional communication skills for educating customers, explaining test results, and documenting service work.
- Prior experience as a water treatment technician or in a related plumbing, HVAC, or environmental services role.
- Ability to work on-site, travel locally across Long Island, and perform physical tasks such as lifting equipment and working in tight spaces.
- Knowledge of safety standards, relevant regulations, and proper handling of treatment chemicals and equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications in water treatment or plumbing are a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Reliability, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset.
