Shipper and Receiver

Position Summary

Magellan Aerospace, New York offers a Shipper & Receiver position responsible for efficient handling, storage, and transportation of materials, parts, and products. Requires at least one year of shipping and receiving experience and a valid CDL license.

Salary range: $25–$30 per hour.

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
• Properly document shipments, including bills of lading, packing slips, and inventory records.
• Ensure all shipments comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments in the inventory system.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
• Package, label, and prepare shipments for delivery or transport.
• Operate company vehicles to transport materials between facilities, if required.

• Minimum 1 year of shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
• Valid CDL license.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in using inventory management systems and shipping software.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Knowledge of shipping regulations and procedures.
