This role operates on the 1st shift, Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm.
ONBOARDING
SCHEDULE:
A structured 4–5 day program from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, completed during the first week.
An Inventory Control Operator I helps maintain accurate inventory levels and supports efficient warehouse operations. The role includes performing audits, cycle counts, and data entry to keep inventory records up to date. The operator works with cross‑functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve inventory processes.
Responsibilities- Monitor inventory levels and conduct audits to ensure accuracy
- Perform cycle counts and update inventory systems
- Reconcile discrepancies and support corrective actions
- Maintain inventory records for receiving, storing, and issuing items
- Implement inventory control procedures and best practices
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide training and guidance on inventory processes
- Follow safety rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 2+ years of experience in inventory control or related roles
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally (with assistance)
- Comfortable working around powders, chemicals, and food allergens
- Flexible to work overtime based on business needs
- Comfortable using computers, tablets, and inventory systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory software
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to read, write, and understand English
- Team‑oriented and proactive
The approximate hourly pay for this position is $21.48. Final compensation may vary based on factors such as knowledge, skills, and geographic location.
