Project Accountant

Description

Our team is seeking a highly organized Project Accountant with a strong background in construction accounting for an exciting opportunity in Boise, Idaho. The ideal candidate will have experience managing project-based financials, performing detailed cost analysis, and collaborating with project managers and leadership to ensure accurate accounting throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Manage all aspects of project accounting, including job cost tracking, budget review, and project billing.

+ Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and external vendors to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

+ Reconcile project accounts and prepare monthly financial statements.

+ Maintain contract documentation and change orders; assist with compliance audits.

+ Prepare and submit draws, lien waivers, and related construction documentation.

+ Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Requirements

Requirements:

+ Prior experience in construction project accounting is required.

+ Proficiency with job cost software and Excel preferred.

+ Strong understanding of GAAP and construction industry billing processes.

+ Excellent organization, attention to detail, and communication skills.

+ Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
