We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to support a growing organization in Boise. This contract opportunity is well-suited for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys owning core accounting and payroll functions. The role focuses on ensuring financial accuracy, consistency, and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities
+ Process weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and on-time execution
+ Perform routine reconciliations of financial transactions to validate data integrity and resolve variances
+ Manage accounts receivable activities, including invoice review, payment tracking, and issue resolution
+ Ensure accurate integration between internal operating systems and the accounting platform
+ Reconcile inventory, accounts payable, and other financial records to maintain clean and reliable books
+ Serve as the initial reviewer of daily transaction submissions from operating teams, confirming completeness and accuracy
+ Prepare periodic financial summaries and reports related to payroll and receivables
+ Partner with internal stakeholders, vendors, and customers to address discrepancies and support timely resolution
+ Track and report on claims or adjustments, coordinating with external partners as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Quick Books.
- Demonstrated ability to manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
- Experience with bank reconciliations and daily business transaction reviews.
- Familiarity with third-party software integrations and financial data reconciliation.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members, suppliers, and customers.
