Duties and Responsibilities
Ensures revenue recognition is consistent with U.S. GAAP, PCG's policies, and client contracts.
Assists with automating business processes and implementing new tools as needed to manage revenue transactions.
Prepare revenue‑related analytics for monthly, quarterly, and annual periods.
Processes invoices and contracts into accounting software accurately and efficiently.
Communicates with practice areas to gather contract and billing data for entry into accounting systems.
Responds to revenue and billing inquiries from practice areas.
Prepares revenue, deferred revenue, and other revenue‑related journal entries.
Provides general ledger and reporting assistance to finance staff of subsidiary companies.
Ensures compliance with accounting policies and procedures and recommends accounting process improvements.
Assists with annual financial audit for revenue and AR items.
Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple activity streams.
Demonstrated ability to manage task load with frequent interruptions.
Ability to maintain integrity and attention to detail at all times.
Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
Systems knowledge and thinking with a continuous desire to learn.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel.
Possess discretion to work with confidential information.
Knowledge of ASC 606 principles and guidelines.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
2-4 years accounting or finance experience; prior experience with revenue recognition principles and experience with Workday or a similar accounting software is a plus.
Hybrid setting.
CompensationSalary range: $81,500-$91,500.
Benefits: medical and dental care, 401(k), PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.
