Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site Business Accountant role based in Boise, Business Accountant will manage day‑to‑day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. This role will prepare and review financial statements, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and support month‑end and year‑end closing activities. The Business Accountant will monitor inventory‑related costs, help analyze margins and profitability, and provide financial insights to support business decisions.
The role will also involve maintaining compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, coordinating with external accountants as needed, and continuously improving financial processes and controls.
- Experience with core accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger management, and bank reconciliations.
- Proficiency in preparing financial reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and analyzing financial performance and margins.
- Familiarity with inventory, cost accounting, or distribution/wholesale operations, preferably in a manufacturing or supply environment.
- Ability to use accounting and ERP software, along with strong skills in spreadsheets and basic data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of relevant tax, compliance, and regulatory requirements applicable to small and mid‑sized businesses.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non‑financial stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; professional certification (e.g., CPA or CMA) is a plus.
- Ability to work on‑site in Boise, , collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and contribute to a continuous improvement culture.
