Tax Partner
- Fully Remote
Compensation: Base salary + Bonus + Equity Opportunities (Compensation structure will vary based on experience and book of business)
Book of Business:
Transferable book of business of at least $300,000 is required.
Location: Fully Remote – Candidates can be based anywhere in the U.S. (except California)

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Tax Partner for the growing Tax practice. This is a strategic leadership opportunity focused on serving complex individual and fiduciary clients while contributing to the long-term success of the firm. The role offers full remote flexibility, client ownership, equity opportunities, and robust support across operations, technology, and staffing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and estates with complex tax needs
- Lead client engagements and manage relationships effectively
- Contribute to firm growth by developing new business and mentoring team members
- Provide expertise in tax compliance, planning, and advisory services
- Collaborate with leadership on strategic initiatives and practice expansion
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Current or former Partner, solo practitioner, or tax leader at a CPA firm
- 10+ years of experience serving high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and estates
- Deep technical expertise in 1040s, 1041s, 1065s, and 1120-S
- CPA required
- LLM or Master’s in Taxation preferred
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for practice growth
- Strong client management and mentorship skills
Additional Considerations:
- A portable book of business is required (ideally $300K+ in recurring revenue)
- This is a client-facing leadership role, not a back-office position
- Equity participation is available and can grow based on performance and contribution
