Financial Accountant

If you are a master of Quick Books, numbers are your best friend, and Excel is your favorite sandbox, then this could be the position for you. We need an advanced accountant to perform everything from accruals, to job costing, to account and property reconciliations, to General Ledger adjustments and maintenance, to monthly closeouts for multiple companies/funds. We have support staff that does basic AP/AR, but with the position’s oversight of their work.

The job is more than just accounting in that this position assist/supports the operational team with data and analysis, transaction processing, reconciliation with outside vendors, and reporting.

We are an asset management firm that is the operational and accounting arms for clients investing in high-touch, real estate based investments (mortgages, tax liens, etc.).Our clients are knowledgeable and sophisticated, so our team must be excellent with numbers, precise in their procedures/record keeping/analysis, and good communicators.

The company is a small team of high performers that has existed since 2004, and is entering a growth mode.

• Perform accruals, job costing, account and property reconciliations, General Ledger adjustments and maintenance, and monthly closeouts for multiple companies/funds.
• Oversee basic AP/AR handled by support staff.
• Provide data and analysis to the operational team, process transactions, reconcile with outside vendors, and generate reporting.

• Degrees in accounting or finance are preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in an accounting role.
• Must be in the Boise area. Our office is located in SE Boise.
