Typical starting range $23.24 - 25.39 hourly STATUS &
HOURS:
Full-time, temporary position of approximately 40 hours per week through February 14, 2027. BENEFITS:
- Eligible to participate in State Employee Group Insurance Program and a retirement program with employer contribution. Employee earns sick time in accordance with ESST.

DESCRIPTION:
This position exists to provide accounts payable and accounting support by ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, employee reimbursements, and vendor payments. This position maintains accounts payable records, reconciles vendor accounts, supports compliance with organizational policies and reporting requirements, and assists in maintaining the integrity of financial data.
SUMMARY OF WORK:- Perform the accounts payable process efficiently and accurately for all expenditures;
- Ensure compliance and controls for accounts payable and accounting;
- Provide ongoing support to the Accounting Operations team.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two years of accounts payable, accounting support, bookkeeping, or related financial operations experience.
- Experience processing invoices, payments, reimbursements, or other financial transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
- Experience working with financial software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, or similar accounting systems.
- Working knowledge of accounts payable practices, IRS 1099 reporting requirements and related recordkeeping practices, and internal controls.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply established policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with vendors, employees, and internal stakeholders.
- Proficient in Google Suite and Excel.
