We are looking for a reliable and self-driven Administrative & Accounting Assistant to join our small team of five professionals in Boise, Idaho. This part-time role (16-24 hours per week) offers flexible scheduling and the chance to make a real impact in a growing international company. Tolsma USA is part of an international organization, with its headquarters located in the Netherlands.
You’ll work closely with the COO and our Accountant, to keep financial process running smoothly, while supporting daily administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities- Accounts Payable:
Process incoming invoices, schedule and prepare payments to vendors, reconcile bank and credit card transactions. - Accounts Receivable:
Create sales invoices, send reminders and statements, follow up directly with customers on outstanding payments. - Maintain accurate financial records and assist with month-end accounting.
- Manage incoming mail and provide general administrative support.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks, proactively resolve issues and contribute to operational improvements.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role (bookkeeping, accounting support, or office administration).
Comfortable using accounting software and MS Office/Google Suite. Experience with Quick Books Online is beneficial. Experience with Excel is a must.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Professional communication skills - not afraid to pick up the phone.
Experience with Work in Progress (WIP) tracking/Project Administration is beneficial.
