Accounts Receivable​/Deductions Specialist

Express Employment is seeking an accounts receivable deductions specialist for a pet and garden supply company.

• Responsible for the deduction resolution and processing of credit memos to customer accounts

• Basic accounting knowledge, including credits, debits, general ledger
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented, metric-driven environment
• Analytical, problem solver mindset, detail-oriented, organized, strong communicator, sense of urgency
• Self-starter, ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Ability to adapt to a change and handle multiple priorities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, primarily Excel and Outlook
• 3+ years of high volume accounts receivable and deduction resolution experience is a plus
• Experience in a profit center, cost center, and/or shared service environment is a plus
• ERP experience is a plus
• Consumer products experience is a plus

• Schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
• Pay rate is $18/hr.
• Position is temp to hire
• After training, position is remote except for certain times where you will be required to be in the office, including running monthly statements and meetings
