Join Our Team as an Administrative Support Specialist
Human Resources, Boise Regional Medical Center
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Administrative Support Specialist to join our Employee Health team. This role plays a vital part in supporting the health and safety of our colleagues through efficient coordination, data management, and communication.
Department OverviewOur department is dedicated to promoting and restoring health, preventing illness and injury, and protecting employees from work‑related and environmental hazards. This includes immunization management, occupational injury and illness support, safety education, and onboarding health clearances for new hires. You’ll be the go‑to person for keeping our department running smoothly! Your day‑to‑day will include:
- Managing workflows and administrative tasks with precision and care.
- Coordinating with departments like HR, Talent Acquisition, and the lab team.
- Collecting, organizing, and updating important data—mostly in spreadsheets, inputting lab results, immunization records; accuracy is a must.
- Meeting deadlines and ensuring everything is well‑documented and compliant.
- Being the central communications person for the department.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of administrative experience (healthcare setting preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.). Familiarity with Workday is a bonus.
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
- An outgoing, approachable, and upbeat demeanor; as the first point of contact, you set the tone for Employee Health Services.
- Excellent time‑management skills with strong attention to detail. You are comfortable handling interruptions and shifting priorities, switching gears quickly and picking up previous tasks without missing a beat.
- You can work in a team environment while performing tasks independently.
- Ability to think critically and apply sound judgment—you ask questions and apply knowledge consistently and effectively.
- Bonus:
Prior experience with human resources, employee health, or other healthcare experience.
