This position requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, discretion with confidential information, professional verbal and written communication skills. The candidate must possess excellent secretarial and interpersonal skills, as they will be interacting with students, parents/guardians, and other school district personnel on a regular basis. The candidate should be proficient in Infinite Campus, Microsoft Office (Excel), Google Docs, Office finances and telephone protocol.
The candidate must be able to work independently and perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Principal. Successful school secretary experience is strongly preferred.

- Tracking the District Middle School Calendar of events
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Principal
- Excellent secretarial and interpersonal skills with daily interaction with students, parents/guardians, and school district personnel
- Proficiency in Infinite Campus, Microsoft Office (Excel), Google Docs, Office finances, and telephone protocol
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Successful school secretary experience strongly preferred
- Official transcripts (if applicable), updated resume, and three (3) letters of recommendation
- Criminal background check and tuberculosis test for all persons employed by the Caesar Rodney School District
- Proper identification (Social Security Card and Driver's License), documentation of eligibility for employment in the U.S.A., completion of I-9 form, and completion of paperwork for the Delaware Child Protection Registry
