Tire Technician

Discount Tire is seeking a Tire Technician to join our Automotive team. In this on-site role, you'll mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires while delivering safe, efficient service. You'll perform basic vehicle and tire inspections, operate shop equipment, and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Working closely with teammates, you'll assist customers with tire questions, explain services, and support store operations. Responsibilities

• Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires and wheels on passenger and light trucks
• Perform visual safety inspections on tires, wheels, and basic vehicle components
• Operate lifts, jacks, and related shop equipment safely and correctly
• Follow all safety protocols, maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Assist customers with basic tire questions and service explanations
• Support inventory tasks, including unloading deliveries and stocking tires and wheels
• Accurately document services performed and support POS transactions
• Collaborate with team members to meet service and quality standards
• Report any safety concerns or vehicle issues to supervisors promptly
