Job DescriptionVW Audi Boise is looking for a motivated Apprentice Technician to join our service team. This is a great opportunity for someone starting out in the automotive industry to learn hands-on from experienced technicians while building a long-term career as a certified Volkswagen or Audi technician.
What You'll DoAssist certified technicians with vehicle maintenance and repair work
Perform basic service tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and multi-point inspections
Learn to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and software-related vehicle issues
Keep the shop, tools, and equipment clean and organized
Road test vehicles as needed to confirm repairs
Accurately document work performed and parts used
Follow all shop safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines
Participate in ongoing training and manufacturer certification programs
What We're Looking ForStrong interest in pursuing a career as an automotive technician
Completion of (or current enrollment in) an automotive technology program preferred, but not required
Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Own basic hand tools a plus (tool program available)
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work well with a team
Reliable and punctual
Schedule & CompensationMonday through Friday schedule
Paid training provided — no automotive experience required to apply
