This role serves as the global subject matter expert (SME) for document control governance across Micron’s construction programs. The position is responsible for establishing enterprise standards, driving adoption across global site teams and contractors, and ensuring alignment of document control processes within PMIS platforms, including Procore, SharePoint, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).The role is primarily focused on governance, standardization, and enablement, while retaining the ability to provide hands-on support during critical phases of project execution.###
** Responsibilities
* ** Define and govern enterprise-wide document control standards, policies, and lifecycle processes (creation, versioning, retention, archival, and disposal).
* Drive adoption and enforcement of standardized document control practices across global site teams, contractors, and partners.
* Establish and maintain naming conventions, numbering systems, templates, and document structures to ensure consistency and data integrity.
* Serve as the SME for document control within PMIS platforms (Procore, SharePoint, ACC), aligning system workflows with governance standards.
* Provide system support and guidance to project teams and contractors, including troubleshooting and reinforcing standard processes.
* Monitor compliance and adoption, identify gaps, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
* Partner with IT and system teams to optimize platform configuration and improve document management workflows.
* Develop and deliver training programs, onboarding materials, and job aids to ensure consistent system usage globally.###
** Minimum Qualifications
*** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
* 7+ years of experience in construction, with a strong emphasis on document control and PMIS platforms.
* Demonstrable experience establishing or supporting enterprise-level document control standards across multiple projects.
* Strong working knowledge of Procore, SharePoint, ACC, or similar systems.###
** Preferred Qualifications
*** Experience serving as a PMIS or Procore superuser supporting multiple project teams or regions.
* Demonstrated ability to drive process standardization and governance across diverse, global partners.
* Experience developing and delivering training programs or system onboarding at scale.
* Strong partner management and communication skills with the ability to influence multi-functional teams.
* Experience operating in an AI Assisted environment
